SMPN 113 Students Trained to Handle Fire

165 Students of SMPN 113 (state junior high school), Ancol Urban Village, Pademangan, North Jakarta, were socialized about fire handling, Wednesday (8/9).

This training is very important to make them understand about fire danger and its prevention

North Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept.'s Prevention Section Head, Budi Haryono said, fire handling training was given to students thus they will understand fire danger and its prevention.

"We want to give fire handling skill to students and teacher. This training is very important to make them understand about fire danger and its prevention," he said.

Fire Socialization Given to Pluit People

In this activity, all participants were invited to extinguish fire directly on stove. They extinguished it using wet sack and small fire extinguisher (APAR).

"When fire happen, we hope people not panic to handle it early before firefighter personnel come," he closed.
